  • planning meeting - march 28

    Don't miss the next planning meeting for the 2018 Community Days:  Mission to Bowling Green.  The meeting will take place from 6:30-8:00 during the regularly scheduled Wednesday night Bible study time.  The children's class and TRAC will meet at their normal times.

  • Easter Sunday Services - april 1

    Celebrate the risen Savior with us on Easter morning!  We'll have fantastic worship services and fun activities for the kids.  Sonrise service at 8:00, Continental breakfast at 9:00, Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00, Contemporary Worship service at 10:30.

  • Men's Breakfast - April 7

    Spend your Saturday morning with other men from the congregation at a breakfast and Bible study from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

  • Potluck Dinner & Elder Nomination - April 8

    Nominate those men you believe would be good candidates to become elders at CCBG during a potluck meal at 6:00 p.m. in the evenings.  Learn more about CCBG's process for selecting elders.

  • MIssion to BG Garage Sale Fundraiser - April 13-14

    Support the 2018 Community Days:  Mission to Bowling Green by shopping at the annual garage sale fundraiser on Friday, April 13 and  Saturday, April 14.  You can also bring your gently used donations to the CCBG building on Thursday, April 12 during set-up.

  • Bowling - April 14

    The Family Life Group will bowl at Al-Mar Lanes from 1:30 to 3:30 on Saturday, April 14.  There is a $5 per person bowling fee per game and a $3 shoe rental fee.

  • Planning Meeting - April 25

    We will meet in the Foyer from 6:30 to 8:00 pm to discuss details of mission week. If you would like to head a project please come prepared to share information such as cost, number of volunteers needed, locations, dates etc. 

  • National Day of prayer - may 3

    National Day of Prayer will be held at 12p Thursday at the Wood County Courthouse Steps. The theme for this year is "FOR YOUR GREAT NAME'S SAKE! HEAR US.... FORGIVE US... HEAL US!" Taken from Daniel 9:19 The program will last about an hour, if weather is not permitting we will move to Trinity United Methodist Church. 

  • FLower Sale - May 4-6

    Buy flowers for your garden and support the 2018 Community Days;  Mission to Bowling Green at the same time!

  • Family life group date night - may 12

    Have dinner with your spouse and others from the Family Life Group at El Zarape in Bowling Green.  We will provide Childcare here at the building for those who let us know the names of the children, ages, and allergies. You may drop off your children at 5:30  and we will provide a pizza dinner for the kids. Meet at El Zarape for dinner from 6p-8p. Children need to be picked up between 8 and 8:30 pm. 

  • BBQ Chicken Dinner Carryout - June 17

    Support the 2018 Community Days:  Mission to Bowling Green by pre-ordering some of Harlan's famous BBQ chicken for lunch on Father's Day!  Each meal is $10 and includes half a chicken, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, a roll and butter and utensils.  You may order and pay for chicken on Sunday mornings in May or from 9-3 Mondays through Friday at the church office.  Dinner will be available for pickup or carryout on Sunday, June 17 from 10:30-1:30.  There will be no sales after June 3.

    It's time to get excited about the 2018 Community Days:  Mission to Bowling Green!   This is your chance to spend a week with fellow Christians on a local mission field as you minister to the Bowling Green area through a variety of community service projects, Vacation Bible School and a community carnival.  Visit our Missions Page to learn more about this fantastic week.
